Well I haven't stayed here yet, but after reading the reviews, this is my kind of campground lol.

Had a great time at the campground. We were surprised to find out they had an open mic that night around a campfire by the beach. Besides the fun we had planned it was nice to hear some songs, stories and jokes. The only issue I had was the noise around 4 or 5am, it sounded like an engine running loudly. It was the start of duck hunting so it may have been related to that.

Very nice campground. Very clean and also kid friendly. Nice little beach and play areas! It was very quiet, which we loved!

This is a really beautiful campground! The site are large and spaced so far apart that in a lot of cases you couldn't see any other sites. Surrounded by trees and vegetation. We had two complaints, however. #1 - the camping fee does not include a $5.00 per car entry pass, costing us an additional $10.00 for our truck, which was pulling our trailer. This was not celarly defined on the website. Yes, they mention a $5 fee for cars, but we thought that meant if you had a car come into to visit you, NOT the cost for the truck pulling the trailer! #2 - the young man who checked us in was not friendly at all. He was abrupt to the point of being rude. He did not offer us a map or show us how to get to our site; I had to ask for one. He shouldn't be on a front desk where customer service is everything. I won't mention his name here, but if anyone from the Park system is following up on this, please contact me.

We go camping to reconnect, enjoy family, and refresh our souls not to camp next to parties.

With over 45 years of camping under my belt, I've found it's always the visitors that are ready to cause the trouble.

I think this summer it's on the list because there is nothing worse than a few bad campers ruining other campers good time and if the host are doing their jobs and making sure that everyone is compliant, that's the place I want stay.

Have stayed here many times and have NEVER had a problem. We stay here 4-5 times each summer. All people HAVE to be registered, it is for safety and fire concerns, they tell you that when you are checking in. This is a county park and ALL county parks require every car to have a permit, regardless if you are visiting or staying, you are also told this when you check in. This park is clean and the beach and playground areas are clean. The bathrooms and shower areas could be nicer and attended to more often, but it is a campground.
